Echo finds costume work to be a creative and challenging outlet and when Diaspora came across her path she was thrilled to jump at the opportunity. Deco’s creativity and fire inspired her to reach further than she ever had before to help fulfil his vision and create the intricate and unique world of Diaspora. Echo is currently in Vancouver, where she just wrapped on Netflix’s Brand New Cherry Flavor.
Echo Andersson got her start in film as an actress. She attended the University of Winnipeg in the film and performance program. She then travelled around Canada to pursue acting. She settled in New York City to attend the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film School. She has worked in costume on various shows across Canada, including Amazon Studios’ Tales from the Loop and Hallmark’s Love at Daisy Hill. She currently has a short film, Rosie, which she wrote and starred in, directed by and co-starring Destry Allyn Spielberg.
