JUSTIN DELORME

COMPOSER

Justin Delorme is an established and recognized Métis media composer and music producer currently based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

He is a multi-instrumentalist and certified audio engineer with a background in music production and live performance. Delorme is a Canadian Screen Award Nominee (Best Original Music, Non-Fiction) with over 100 television credits including all 4 seasons of the acclaimed television series Taken (Eagle Vision, APTN/CBC).

He has scored over 100 episodes of television, 3 feature films, over 25 short films and documentaries, and many large-scale digital media projects, reaching audiences around the world. Delorme is also a music producer and collaborator with award-winning Canadian artists.

In 2021, Justin has scored all 8 episodes of the upcoming drama series Querencia (APTN LUMI), provided music for the virtual grand opening of Qaumajuq at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, and produced the single “Almost - Feat. The Northwest Kid” by Tara Williamson, along with her full-length album “Enough” releasing later this year.

Justin assembled a team of highly respected musicians for the Diaspora main title themes. Drew Jurecka is featured on the lead baritone violin, Joshua Van Tassel on drums and percussion, and Bret Higgins on upright bass. Justin also made use of a huge variety of instruments and sampled performances to create the chaotic collage of incidental music throughout the film.

Justin is represented by the Core Music Agency, and is a member of the Screen Composers Guild of Canada and SOCAN.
